Healthy Child Healthy World Honors Dr. Karp
Dr. Karp received a Lifetime Achievement Award from America’s leading children’s environmental health organization. Dr. Karp was a founding member of Mothers and Others for a Livable Planet (NRDC), Healthy Child Healthy World, and is currently on the board of the Environmental Working Group. Dr. Karp was honored for his more than two decades of work with non-profit organizations as an advocate for national laws and policies to preserve our children’s birthright to a clean and healthful environment and to protect them from harmful chemicals and substances in household products and foods.

Dr. Karp especially helps Casa de los Angelitos, a full service shelter for pregnant and homeless women in operation for 24 years.
